Wah! Smart Deals is a community-driven platform that enables users to unlock exclusive local deals together. I redesigned the product from an existing version 1.0 into a refined version 2.0 by reworking flows, UI, and interactions across customer and vendor modules for both mobile and web.

The client had an existing version 1.0 design, but the overall experience lacked clarity, consistency, and scalable structure. The challenge was to redesign the platform while respecting existing concepts and aligning everything with updated business goals.
The product involved multiple user roles including customers and vendors, each with distinct workflows. Designing seamless journeys for both while maintaining simplicity and avoiding feature overload was a critical usability challenge.
Another major challenge was presenting complex deal mechanics, community-based pricing, and trust-building elements in a way that felt intuitive, friendly, and engaging for first-time users across both mobile and web platforms.
I worked on this project as a UI/UX Designer, taking ownership of the complete product redesign from initial analysis to final interactive prototypes. My responsibility included restructuring flows, refining UI patterns, and ensuring a consistent experience across customer and vendor modules.
I started by thoroughly reviewing the existing version 1.0 design to identify usability gaps, visual inconsistencies, and flow breakpoints. This helped me clearly understand what needed improvement while preserving ideas that already worked well.
The redesign focused on building clear, flow-driven experiences where each screen logically leads to the next. I prioritized simplicity, trust, and clarity to ensure users could quickly understand how the platform delivers value.
Interactive prototyping played a key role in my approach, allowing the client to experience real user flows before development. This helped validate design decisions early and reduced ambiguity during the handoff process.
Wah! Smart Deals v2.0 was designed as a scalable, community-first platform with clear user journeys.
